You can not align or verify system tracking with artificial stimuli generated behind the antenna sub-system.

Azimuth and Elevation tracking signals can only be tested with an EXTERNAL POINT SOURCE.

Only in this way can you be confident that the antenna, the transmitter, the receiver and all of the processing circuits are correctly aligned and contain no errors that might bias the system.
