 Using our standard components Fredwal can assemble
a target that will simulate the signature of
a variety of Complex Targets. 

Sophisticated Doppler radars using a battery of Velocity Bins are able to interpret the numerous frequencies contained in the complex returns. Using a pair of Serrodynes with associated variable attenuators under the control of a laptop computer, the Fredwal Helicopter Simulator Target can generate a variety of signatures.

The Doppler frequencies associated with various numbers of blades and hub components can be selected by the operator. With Fredwal's unique delay feature, the target can be placed into any clutter free area of the test range.

Each simulator target is custom engineered to the customers specifications. Various features can be selected to meet the most demanding requirements.

Considering the cost of using actual aircraft to verify the proper operation of the detection circuitry, the Fredwal Target is a bargain, indeed.
